Raise the Roof Raffle

The Raise the Roof Raffle, sponsored by the Board of Trustees is underway and concludes with the drawing on March 2nd, 2011. Our goal for this year’s raffle is $40,000 and 100% community participation.

The prepared environment at School of the Woods is a key element to the success of our students. The classrooms are designed to maximize independent discovery and learning. Our school needs two facilities to fully educate our students, a Gymnasium and a permanent home for Woods High School. We have the land, we own the plans, and we need your help to “Raise the Roof” of these facilities.

The ticket price is $50 per ticket; for that price you will have a chance to win one of the following prizes:

  • 1st Prize: $2,500 Visa Gift Card
  • 2nd Prize: $1,000 Visa Gift Card
  • 3rd Prize:   $500 Visa Gift Card
  • 4th Prize:   $250 Visa Gift Card

Another way to help is to make an underwriting contribution of any amount to the Raise the Roof Raffle. Underwriting helps to off-set the cost of the prizes and to reach the 100% participation goal. Download the Underwriting Flyer by clicking on the button above.

Everyone who participates in the Raise the Roof Raffle will receive one entry in a second drawing, also held on March 2nd, 2011. “Participation” means either purchasing a raffle ticket(s) or making an underwriting contribution of any amount.

The winning participant will receive an iPad – 16GB with Wi-Fi.
